Sexually Active

"Sexually healthy people are not sluts!"

I was originally going to say "Sexually active women are not sluts!" but I have seen male slut shaming before (Yes, it happens ) so I decided to change it to people, so we can all be one happy family. Although typically it's slut shaming centers around women.

I always see things like:

"She should have waited till marriage!"
"He doesn't deserve STD treatment because he chose to have sex!"
"If she didn't want a baby she should have kept her legs shut!"
"Sex is gross and anyone who does it for enjoyment is a filthy slut!"
"Pre-Marital sex is a sin and anyone who does the dirty beforehand is going to hell!"

And so on.

"Pre-Marital sex IS a sin, though! It says so in the bible!"

And so is eating shrimp, wearing mixed fabrics, shaving, eating pig and so on. Do you follow everything the bible says? Because if you do, you'd be one fucked up person. But really, why do people feel the need to let people down over what a 2000 year old book says? Get with the times!

"It's true that if she didn't want to be pregnant she shouldn't have opened her legs like the slut she is!"

Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy. I have said this so many times before and people like you STILL don't get it! Plenty of women from all cultures are faced with unwanted pregnancies AND THAT INCLUDES MARRIED WOMEN!

"I'm offended by sex, I think it's so gross!"

Awww, somebody got offended!!!
But no seriously, do you think I care? If you don't like the thought of sex, here's an amazing idea: DON'T DO IT. And let people like me who enjoy sex keep on enjoying it. Kays?
