Pro-Choice =/= Anti-Life

"I'm Pro-Choice, NOT 'Anti-Life'"

As you all know: I get into the abortion debate quite a lot, and as most of you might have guessed, I'm profoundly Pro-Choice. And the amount of fucking times I've been called "Anti-Life", "Anti-Baby", "Anti-Family" and the biggest one: "Pro-Abortion" is un-fucking-believable.

"You are anti-life! You want to kill innocent unborn babies!"

Listen, I know that a zygote is alive. It's alive exactly how every single cell in existence is. If killing a non-viable collection of tissue and cells is murder, I do hope you mourn the lives of all the Bacteria/Cells/Viruses/Plants/Animals/Anything that is alive. Also: the term "unborn baby" is an oxymoron. Also, a foetus is not innocent, it lacks the ability to be innocent or guilty.

"You are anti-baby! An unborn baby didn't ask to be there and you MURDERED it!!!"

Again: I'm not anti-baby for supporting a woman's right to choose. If I'm anti-baby, you're anti-woman. Also, it doesn't matter how the foetus got there, it can't use my body without my ongoing consent. And as I have established MANY times before: Consent to sex is NOT consent to pregnancy.

"You're anti-family because you want to kill every unborn baby before it could even become part of a family!"

....LOLWHUT? I do not want to kill every foetus there is in existence, that would be stupid. Also, how the hell is letting a woman decide when she wants to (if she ever does) start her own family anti-family? If anything: Forcing her to give birth to a child she didn't ever want that would grow up to be un-loved by it's own mother is hardly pro-family, is it?

"You support abortion, therefore you are pro-abortion!"

I support abortion as a possible CHOICE for a pregnant woman, not for every single pregnancy there is out there. If I were pro-abortion, I'd be out there making sure that every single pregnancy is terminated. Hardly anyone is pro-abortion. Besides: If I'm pro-abortion for being pro-choice, you are pro-slavery, by wanting to force every single pregnant woman who doesn't want to be to gestate.

"Abortion is murder!"

The legal definition of murder disagrees with you.

Abortion does not fit into either category because:

1. Abortion is 100% lawful in most countries in the world.
2. A zygote is not a being.
3. No woman plans to get pregnant just to have an abortion.

"I've seen you use the term anti-choice before!"

I only use the term anti-choice to those who bloody well deserve it. There are very few people who I would consider to be "pro-life", and none of those people want abortion illegal. By wanting abortion to be illegal, you are denying a woman to make the best CHOICE for herself regarding her pregnancy and her life. And believe it or not: By wanting to deny people choices, does indeed make you anti-choice.

Besides: Anyone who wishes to see abortion illegal with no expectations are pro-life, considering they'd rather see both woman and foetus die in extreme cases/illegal abortion.
